A Florida native, Dr. Mendro received his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Florida (UF). Afterward, he received his dental degree from Columbia University in New York. Dr. Mendro later returned to UF, where he completed an additional 3-year specialty residency program in periodontics and earned his Master of Science degree. Dr. Mendro is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Mendro is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art treatment in a warm and friendly environment.
He has remained active in the dental community. He maintains membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Florida Association of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Central Florida District Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
Dr. Roca Mendro received her dental degree from Francisco Marroquín University. She then continued her advanced education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She later attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Rutgers, where she completed her periodontics residency and Master of Science degree.
Dr. Roca Mendro is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is a published author and is active in the local dental community as well as abroad, helping individuals receive dental care in rural villages of Guatemala. Dr. Roca Mendro is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Florida Association of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association.
